In addition, acorn flour is known to add an amazing dimension of flavor to baked goods. But most of all, acorns have been observed over and over again to make people happy!
Outdoor Education Curriculum

Give your students an outdoor educational experience they’ll remember for the rest of their lives as you guide them through the process of harvesting acorns and turning them into flour. While they practice teamwork, practical problem-solving, cooking, math, writing, and more throughout this unit, they will be learning the rich history of how humans worldwide have used the acorn. And nothing quite compares to the satisfaction of harvesting your own acorns, turning them into delicious flour, and baking with it, which will be the culmination of this unit! For ages 7 – 18.
